BLACK FRIARS SOCIAL CLUB

How the Schedule Works

Quick read. Under a minute. Here's the deal with the Black Friars Social Club schedule page.

The short version

You barely have to touch it. Open the link, see what's coming up, see who's in. That's the whole job. But if you want to lean in, there's a lot here — and the best part is you can pull the whole thing into the calendar you already use, so you never have to come back here at all.

What this is

One page, one source of truth. Rehearsals, gigs, who's confirmed for each, where it is, what time. Everybody's looking at the same thing, and it's kept current. No more digging through old email chains trying to figure out if Thursday's still on.

How to use it

It's view-only — just check it. Open it any time to see:

In — confirmed, you're there. Out — confirmed you can't make it. TBC — not confirmed yet (shows as a dash "—").

No account. No login. Just open the link.

Pull it into your own calendar (the good part)

Don't want to check yet another calendar? Don't. Hit Subscribe to this calendar at the top and the whole schedule drops straight into the calendar you already live in — Google, Apple, or Outlook. Every rehearsal and gig just shows up alongside everything else in your week, and it stays in sync as things change. Set it once and you never have to open this page again unless you want to.

How to update your availability

The page is view-only, so you can't change your own status on it — and you don't need to.

The whole job on your end

Just email Alan the dates you're in or out, and he updates the calendar. That's it. One email. So if the page says you're "TBC" for a gig and you know you're in, send Alan word and he'll flip it.

It's still growing

This is an early version and it's getting better. More is coming. If something's confusing, wrong, or missing — tell Alan. Feedback is what makes it better.
